geometry experts

one time, i had a dream that i was at a party. the people there played a game. they pretended to be psychologists, or pretended to be archaeologists, or pretended to be big minds in philosophy. really, they just knew about some old poems.

i decided to tell them about my late uncle cuthred. he had some unique theories on babylonian mythology. but, an angel arrived instead. the party people tried  to get him/her to do geometry proofs for some entertainment.

my pet fish, bubbles, said that if i hadn't been for the angel showing up, it would have been the dullest party he had ever been to. he's been to a lot. bubbles said he's an expert on parties.

it was also very windy there.

the pool players

one time i had a dream that planting pear trees could help my cousin harold get married because his fiancee's father didn't have a billiards table.

my pet fish, bubbles, said that this would help the tigers beat the lizards at snooker. 

the movie dude.

one time i had a dream that i met a sufi who makes films of his poetry. he had all kinds of patterns and words, and it was very impressive to meet someone in tune with the universe and who can dance.

my pet fish bubbles said that if i'm easily impressed by a cheap light show, i should check out his stuff the next time he DJ's. 

renewal

one time i had a dream that i needed to renew my driver's license, but when i got to the dmv, i forgot my penguin.

my pet fish, bubbles, said that it must have been an auk, not a penguin, because penguins don't live in the northern hemisphere.
i told bubbles the auk isn't a real animal, they're just mythological.

the barque of millions of years

one time i had a dream that i got to hang out in heliopolis and see the steering wheel of the sun. my pet fish bubbles was there. he asked if he could fly the solar boat. they wouldn't let him. they said you have to be 21 years old, and he's not.

the jolly tunes

one time i had a dream that we all went to "the horse and kettle" in a big group because bubbles was doing his music with his amazing under-ocean philharmonic. and he was highly paid for this event.

when we got there, it was a magical display of sound and light. some people were dancing, others were just sitting at the tables with their eyes closed enjoying the audible wonders that bubbles was creating with his dj skills. eventually, some people were so deep in the trance that he created that they started to levitate. it was so majestic. then, the whole place started to float away into the cosmos.

however, when i woke up it was just a dream. it was too amazing to be true -- bubbles was still broke. he asked to borrow $10 to buy the sunday times and a pack of gum. 

mermaid

ok.
one time i had a dream that i met a real live mermaid.

she smoked a pipe from virginia or the new world or something. a guy with an eye-patch was trying to catch her. bubbles said that she escaped using her wits.
